Big decisions deserve a second set of eyes.
Entity setup, tax planning, and straight answers for the moments when the stakes are bigger than a filing deadline.
Most tax bills aren’t decided in April. They’re decided months earlier, when you chose a business structure, took the distribution, or sold the asset. Consulting is where we get ahead of those decisions instead of accounting for them after the fact.
Whether you’re establishing a sole proprietorship, an S-corporation, or an LLC, I’ll help you pick the structure the numbers actually support, then set you up with accounting practices that make next April boring, which is the goal.

Common questions
I got a letter from the IRS. How bad is it?
Usually far less bad than it feels. Most letters are automated matching notices that a correct, timely response resolves. Don't ignore it and don't call the IRS cold. Bring it to me first, and we'll respond with the right paperwork, once.
Should my business be an S-corp?
Sometimes it does, and sometimes the payroll costs and compliance burden outweigh the savings. I'll run your actual numbers both ways and show you the break-even point, so the election is a math decision instead of a forum rumor.
How does consulting pricing work?
Hourly at the published rate on the pricing page, or a fixed project quote for defined work like entity setup. Either way you'll know the number before we start. The fixed-price philosophy applies here too.
Do you only work with Omaha businesses?
Omaha is home and face-to-face is my default, but consulting works fine remotely for clients across Nebraska and beyond. Federal tax law travels; so do video calls.
